Hancock Whitney in Diamondhead, MS seeks an experienced Mortgage Loan Originator to originate portfolio loans including conventional, FHA, VA and RD, ensuring compliance with investor requirements and all applicable laws.

You will promote bank products, grow referral networks, and manage a clean loan pipeline by coordinating daily with processors, underwriters and closers to keep status updates accurate.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 2 years of sales experience required.
• 2+ years of Mortgage origination experience is preferred.
• NMLS registration under the SAFE Act required; active upon employment.
• Knowledge of mortgage laws, procedures, rules and regulations at federal, state and local level.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Excellent communication, analytical, customer service and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with all levels and strong presentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provides expert mortgage advice to potential borrowers.
• Stays current with the bank's underwriting policy and investor guidelines.
• Develops and maintains referral networks.
• Manages a clean pipeline of loans with processors, underwriters and closers.
• Delivers all compliance documents and disclosures timely.
• Takes a complete application and collects required documentation for verification.
• Prepares borrowers for the process and maintains status updates for all parties.
• Coordinates closing with borrowers, agents and others involved.
