Job summary

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Experience with vendor management programs.
• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 5 years of experience in mortgage banking or compliance.
• Experience in the Mortgage industry preferred.
• NMLS experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with tracking and monitoring trends in mortgage servicing regulations.
• Maintain change management tracking for compliance items and updates.
• Assist with drafting responses to licensing examinations and inquiries.
• Assist with preparing compliance reports for senior management and regulators.
• Monitor complaints relative to federal and state laws, regulations, policies, procedures.
• Conduct trend analysis of firm and subservicer complaint volume, categories, and root causes; report findings to management.
• Support onboarding, auditing, and oversight of mortgage servicers engaged by the firm.
• Coordinate with internal resources on possible changes to processes/controls and/or systems to add value.
• Ensure that compliance issues are evaluated, investigated, and resolved promptly.
