Wealthfront seeks a compliance professional to join the Home Lending Compliance team, owning the licensing program and ensuring regulatory readiness for geographic expansion. You’ll partner with leadership to manage day-to-day regulatory requirements, drive process improvements, and supervise licensing renewals, CE and pre-licensing tracking through NMLS.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree is required.
• 5+ years of residential mortgage compliance experience including QC or licensing.
• Experience with Nationwide Multistate Licensing System (NMLS) and licensing processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-funding and post-closing QC reviews on mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Own end-to-end licensing program for state licenses and MLO licenses through NMLS; manage renewals and CE/Pre-Licensing tracking.
• Research state origination guidelines and monitor changes for expansion readiness.
• Review home lending marketing materials for compliance with TILA (Reg Z) and MAP (Reg N).
• Collaborate with Compliance Operations and Home Lending Operations on consumer complaints and training.
• Prepare and submit annual regulatory reporting and support fair lending monitoring.
