AmeriNat is seeking a Collections Specialist in Palatine, IL to manage delinquent mortgage loans through borrower outreach, payment collection, and account research. The role focuses on accounts up to about 90 days delinquent and coordinating with Loss Mitigation when needed.

You will negotiate payment arrangements, document activity in servicing systems, and maintain service standards while delivering strong customer service.

Competenze

• Minimum 12 months of collections or related experience.
• Two or more years of collections or mortgage servicing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• MS Outlook/Word/Excel knowledge.

Mansioni

• Contact borrowers about past due mortgage payments.
• Manage assigned delinquency queues and collection activities within service standards.
• Discuss account status, payment history, delinquency causes, and resolution options.
• Negotiate payment arrangements and delinquency resolution options.
• Refer accounts to Loss Mitigation when appropriate.
• Respond to borrower inquiries regarding status and options.
