Job summary

First American is seeking a detail-oriented professional to ensure accuracy in Clearing Accounts and reconcile loan activity. The role supports regulatory compliance and audit readiness, partnering with internal teams to uphold process integrity and reporting standards.

You will review bank activity, respond to audit requests, and help implement improvements in reconciliation procedures. The position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency with MS Office in a collaborative, fast-paced

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in an Investor Reporting mortgage servicing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years Bank Reconciliation experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.
• Capacity to work with mathematical concepts and statistics.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile assigned bank accounts and loan activity per policies.
• Validate bank statements against checklists and system reports.
• Coordinate with internal teams to align processes with guidelines.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external groups to resolve issues.
• Assist in responding to internal, external, investor, regulatory, and state audit requests.
• Generate error logs and escalate process breaks to business units.
