The position collaborates with Mortgage Servicing and Loan Operations to ensure accurate general ledger reconciliation, support audit requests, and maintain compliant electronic storage.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s Degree required or 4 years of related experience with accounting exposure.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work across multiple software platforms.

Aufgaben

• Review and reconcile RMHS general ledgers daily, monthly, quarterly and yearly.
• Process daily purchase advices from investors, complete loan disbursements, reconcile items to the general ledger, and generate payment letters to borrowers.
• Correspond with investor contacts for accounting discrepancies found during reconciliation.
• Reconcile the RMC bank statement and check inventory monthly, process wires, and issue checks.
• Manage miscellaneous fund disbursements and ensure accurate general ledger reconciliation.
• Assist Mortgage Servicing and Loan Operations with ledger reconciliation of repurchased loans.
• Collaborate with Mortgage Servicing and other mortgage departments on payoff reconciliations and assigned tasks.
• Process and track monthly payment letters to borrowers while loans are awaiting purchase on the secondary market.
• Collaborate to fulfill audit requests and address accounting questions.
• Maintain electronic storage requirements within mortgage LOS and bank storage for compliance.
• Provide backup support for the Mortgage Office Administrator.
