Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan accounting and funding processes.
• 2–3 years of general ledger reconciliation experience.
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables).

Responsibilities

• Reconcile accounts and balance complex general ledger accounts monthly.
• Navigate AMB software to track mortgage-specific financial transactions.
• Identify discrepancies, research, trace, and resolve variances.
• Post journals: prepare and record monthly adjusting entries.
• Verify transactions by matching bank statements and loan funding data with internal records.
• Support audits by preparing reconciliation schedules for internal and external auditors.
