Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Chandler, AZ is seeking a full-time Assistant Baker for the morning shift (5am–1pm). You will support the Baker in producing high-quality cakes, following NbC recipes, and maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and efficient production.

You will measure ingredients, operate commercial mixers and ovens, prep raw ingredients, assist with packaging and labeling, keep logs and rotate stock, and contribute to a fast-paced, team-focused work environment with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Understand written and oral directions and recipes.
• Know basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Operate bakery equipment including ovens and mixers.
• Adhere to health and safety practices and dress code.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC recipes precisely and meet productivity goals.
• Use measuring tools, mixers and ovens to bake cakes.
• Prepare ingredients and position pans in ovens and monitor baking.
• Maintain daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling and storage of baked cakes and logs.
• Keep workstation clean, restocked and compliant with safety policies.
• Maintain good attendance and punctuality.
