Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes is seeking an Assistant Baker to partner with the Baker to ensure high-quality cakes and exceptional guest service. You will follow proprietary recipes, operate bakery equipment, and support daily production flow in a fast-paced setting.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, consistent attendance, and willingness to work various shifts as needed to meet production demands.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand written and oral directions and follow recipes and safety rules.
• Understands basic units of measurement used in the U.S.
• Able to perform repetitious, physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.
• Capable of operating commercial bakery equipment and working near high-heat sources.
• Meticulous about exact measurements, timing, and fast-paced production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Follow NbC proprietary recipes and cake production methods with precision to meet productivity goals.
• Utilize measuring instruments, mixers, ovens and other tools to bake cakes.
• Assist baker in preparing raw ingredients and setting up pans for baking, monitoring the process.
• Support daily baking and production flow and processes.
• Adhere to packaging, labeling, storage, and rotation standards; maintain logs for baking and refrigeration.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock workstation; assist baker to prep supplies for next shift.
• Comply with health and safety guidelines and NbC policies, including dress code and hygiene.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
