JCPenney in Ohio (Niles) is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience through pivotal store operations before opening. This early-morning role will work with a team to complete essential tasks across the sales floor and backroom.

Responsibilities include customer service, pricing/signage updates, restocking merchandise, unloading deliveries, and upholding stockroom standards while supporting omnichannel initiatives and merchandising plans.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of retail experience preferred.
• Strong customer-service skills and communication.
• Ability to work early mornings and collaborate with a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service on the sales floor.
• Execute pricing and signage changes quickly and accurately.
• Replenish and restock merchandise to meet customer demand.
• Receive and unload merchandise from trucks and prep backroom inventory.
• Maintain clean, organized backroom and stockroom standards.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Returns).
• Implement merchandising plans and ensure standards are followed.
• Participate in ongoing learning and training.
