Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver an outstanding customer experience by performing essential store operations before opening. This is a morning shift role performed with a team to ensure readiness and accuracy of pricing, signing, restocking, and merchandise presentation.

You will support omnichannel tasks and uphold backroom standards to keep the store running smoothly. Primary responsibilities include assisting customers, unloading merchandise, and executing merchandising

Qualifications

• 1-2 years retail experience or related experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced store environment.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and provide exceptional service on the sales floor.
• Execute pricing and signing updates across merchandise quickly and accurately.
• Replenish and restock inventory to maintain available sizes and styles.
• Receive and unload merchandise, assist backroom organization and stocking.
• Maintain backroom standards for safety and cleanliness.
• Support omnichannel initiatives (Buy Online Pickup in Store, Ship from Store, Returns).
• Follow merchandising plans to place products per leadership guidance and ensure a positive customer experience.
