Job summary

Hai Hospitality Group, LLC is seeking a Pastry Cook to join our Houston kitchen. You will contribute to dessert production for dinner service, including baking, sauce work, chocolate work, and related pastry tasks. Shift hours are 6am to 2pm.

Qualifications

• Must be able to effectively communicate with guests and other employees.
• Follow safety guidelines and standards in the kitchen.
• Lift and carry trays up to 50 lbs and stock inventory.
• Stand and walk for extended periods in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Work in hot and cold environments and reconfigure seating as needed.
• Operate ovens, grills, and knives safely and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and proper storage of supplies.
• Collaborate with leadership and coworkers in a busy kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Prepare desserts and pastries for dinner service, including baking, sauce work and chocolate work.
• Support the pastry team in morning to early afternoon service.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper storage of pastry supplies and station.
