AUBERGINE KITCHEN is hiring a Cashier for front-of-house duties in a fast-paced setting. The role offers a mix of full-time and part-time shifts with a $16 per hour pay and a schedule Monday through Saturday 11am-4pm, including weekends.

You will greet guests, guide them through the menu, input orders into Toast POS, keep the counter clean, handle guest recovery, and support kitchen communications during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Full English fluency required; hospitality instincts are essential.
• 18+ age requirement and prior customer-facing restaurant experience preferred.
• Food Handler Certificate within 14 days of hire (company-supported).

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly, guide them through the menu, and suggest add-ons based on orders.
• Input orders into Toast POS accurately and efficiently; catch errors before the kitchen.
• Keep the counter, display case, and self-service station clean and professional.
• Own guest recovery when issues arise; resolve and follow up for satisfaction.
• Coordinate with kitchen for order accuracy; support floor during peak periods.
• Night shift cashiers assist closing duties: cleaning, restocking, and front-of-house checks.
