Job summary

After-School All-Stars Los Angeles is seeking a Part-Time Program Leader to support academic, cultural, and recreational enrichment for youth in a school setting. You will work under the supervision of the Program Coordinator to maintain safety and provide engaging activities.

The role requires experience with youth, strong communication, and CPR/First Aid certification, with flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience working with students in grades K-12 in recreational, educational and/or community youth outreach setting.
• Ability to communicate effectively and respond to incidents and emergencies.
• CPR and First Aid Certifications are required.
• Must be 18 years of age and have suitable educational background.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planning and implementing the daily after-school program under supervision.
• Maintain a 20:1 student ratio using recruitment and retention strategies.
• Prepare supplies and create a creative environment for enrichment activities.
• Supervise students and communicate with staff, parents and families.
