Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a Morning Cook to join our kitchen team. The Cook prepares high-quality, flavorful meals from planned menus, ensuring safety and consistency under the direction of the Dining Services leadership, while delivering warm, hospitable service to residents.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, Food Handler and ServSafe certifications; 2+ years of kitchen experience; ability to work 6AM-2PM, stand for long periods, and follow safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Food Handler’s Certification required.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Culinary Arts degree or formal vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per planned menus and recipes, ensuring high-quality, appealing meals.
• Maintain proper stocking, inventory, and portion control; ensure HACCP standards.
• Interact professionally with residents, guests, and staff; follow safety and sanitation regulations.
