MBK Senior Living is seeking a Full-Time Cook to prepare delicious, nutritious meals for residents, following standardized recipes and menus. The role supports dining services under the Executive Chef, ensuring quality, safety, and resident satisfaction.

The Cook will manage food safety, portion control, and inventory while maintaining a clean kitchen and collaborating with the team to deliver exceptional dining experiences daily.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current Food Handler’s Certification required.
• Current ServSafe Certification required.
• Culinary Arts degree or vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items according to planned menus and recipes, ensuring high-quality meals.
• Maintain proper stocking, inventory use, and portion control.
• Adhere to governmental, sanitary, and dietitian regulations; report infractions promptly.
• Keep workstation clean and sanitary; ensure proper storage and waste management.
• Interact professionally with residents and staff; support menu changes as needed.
