Legacy Restaurant Group - Jacksonville is seeking a pastry baker to prepare breads, pastries and desserts from established recipes. The role requires early morning shifts and may transition to full-time based on business needs.

The candidate should have at least a high school diploma or GED and 1 year of baking experience, with 2–3 years and pastry coursework preferred. Duties include production, quality checks and kitchen clean-up.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year baking experience at minimum.
• Two to three years of baking experience preferred; pastry/c baking courses helpful.
• Demonstrated reliability and ability to work early morning shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepares breads, rolls, muffins, cookies, pies, cakes and other pastries per recipes.
• Reviews production schedules to determine variety and quantity to bake.
• Applies toppings, shapes dough, portions and bakes; ensures quality during baking.
• Receives ingredients from kitchen and pantry; maintains clean work areas.
• Documents production records; may prepare goods for special diets.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
