16 On Center is seeking a Baker / Pastry Cook to produce laminated breakfast pastries, quick breads, and other baked goods for cafe and wholesale partners. This role requires 4 am start times, weekend availability, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced kitchen.

Candidates should have 2+ years pastry experience or pastry school, be comfortable with lamination, and hold or obtain a food handler’s certification. Compensation is hourly with benefits described in the position details.

Qualifikationen

• 2+ years of professional pastry experience.
• Experience with viennoiserie / laminated doughs preferred.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler’s certification.
• Must reliably start at 4am and work weekends.
• Ability to work efficiently with a clean, organized workspace.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Baking, finishing, and packaging croissants and breakfast pastries each morning.
• Producing cookies, cakes, jams, custards, and other dessert components.
• Assisting with chocolate production and packaging seasonally.
• Preparing and serving café menu items.
• Supporting general kitchen operations and cleanliness.
• Collaborating with the team and assisting in other tasks as needed.
