Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic, results-driven Area Sales Manager to support our Montgomery-area hotels. This onsite role drives revenue, develops new business, strengthens client relationships, and grows group, corporate, and local market opportunities.

You will conduct sales calls, visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach, maintain an active sales pipeline, and collaborate with General Managers to hit sales and revenue goals while traveling locally as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel sales, hospitality, business development, or related sales experience preferred.
• Ability to travel locally for sales calls and events.
• Strong follow-up and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive hotel revenue and occupancy.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local and surrounding markets.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, group accounts, meeting planners, travel partners, and community organizations.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach.
• Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline and consistently follow up on leads and opportunities.
• Promote hotel services, meeting spaces, group accommodations, and special offers.
• Collaborate with General Managers and hotel teams to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, and reporting.
• Represent Ascent Hospitality and its hotels professionally within the community.
