Job summary

Ascent Hospitality is seeking an energetic Area Sales Manager to support our Montgomery-area hotels. This onsite role focuses on driving revenue, developing new business, and strengthening client relationships in the local market.

You will manage corporate, group, and local opportunities, travel locally as needed, and collaborate with General Managers to hit sales goals. The position offers a competitive salary, bonus program, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel sales or related sales preferred.
• Proven ability to develop relationships and generate new business.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Results-driven with strong follow-up and organizational skills.
• Ability to travel locally for sales calls and client meetings.
• Knowledge of the Montgomery market is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive hotel revenue and occupancy.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the local and surrounding markets.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients, group accounts, meeting planners, travel partners, and community organizations.
• Conduct sales calls, client visits, networking, site tours, and community outreach.
• Develop and maintain an active sales pipeline with follow-up on leads and opportunities.
• Promote hotel services, meeting spaces, group accommodations, and special offers.
• Collaborate with General Managers and hotel teams to achieve sales and revenue goals.
• Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, account information, and reporting.
• Represent Ascent Hospitality and its hotels professionally within the community.
