Job summary

Agape Montessori in Kansas seeks an organized, proactive After-School Closing Manager to oversee our afternoon program. You will support staff, design engaging activities, communicate with parents at pickup, and coordinate with the Director and Assistant Director to ensure smooth operations.

You will also supervise end-of-day tasks, maintain safety and cleanliness, and ensure compliance with state regulations. A passion for Montessori and leadership skills are essential for daily success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in ECE/Child Development/Healthcare/Management preferred.
• Experience in licensed childcare; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Familiarity with Montessori philosophy and state childcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Guide, support, and mentor after-school staff to ensure a positive work environment.
• Plan and implement creative, age-appropriate after-school activities aligned with Montessori principles.
• Serve as liaison between after-school staff, parents at pickup, and the Director/Assistant Director.
• Oversee daily closing procedures, light cleaning, sanitization, and secure the building.
• Ensure compliance with state childcare regulations and health & safety standards.
