Agape Montessori School in Kansas is seeking an organized After-School Team Lead to support the afternoon program. You will assist the closing manager, oversee staff and students, plan activities, and ensure smooth pickup communications with families and leadership.

The role requires leadership, reliable time management, and adherence to Montessori principles, state requirements, and safety guidelines. Full-time, with potential for additional hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework in ECE or related field preferred.
• Experience with children in licensed childcare; leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Montessori philosophy and state childcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent daily routine across the after-school program with strong classroom management.
• Guide, support, and mentor after-school staff for strong teamwork and positive environment.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate after-school activities aligned with Montessori principles.
• Liaise between staff, closing manager, parents during pickup, and Directors for continuity.
• Assist with daily closing, light cleaning, room reset, and secure building; cover as needed.
• Ensure compliance with state health, safety standards, and school policies.
