Job summary

Marcus by Goldman Sachs, the online consumer banking arm of Goldman Sachs, seeks a Back Office Money Movement and Reconciliation Specialist in Draper, UT. You will oversee cash flow processes, including wires, ACH, checks, and internal transfers, ensuring timely task completion.

You will reconcile payments against ledgers, escalate discrepancies, and collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Treasury, Legal and Technology to implement improvements. This is a hybrid role with three office days per week.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service experience with verbal and written communication.
• Basic understanding of banking operations including wires, ACH, checks.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a risk mindset.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented and flexible, capable of prioritising tasks under pressure.
• High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Understand banking concepts with focus on cash flows: wires, ACH, checks, internal transfers.
• Check payments and reconcile against general ledgers; escalate discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Treasury, and Technology to resolve issues.
• Complete assigned casework, manage queues, and generate reports within SLAs.
• Escalate critical issues and communicate with upper management about tasks and improvements.
