Beth Israel Lahey Health is hiring an Anatomic Pathology Molecular Testing Coordinator to provide logistical, operational, and administrative support within the Department of Anatomic Pathology.

The role serves as a central point for processing molecular and cytogenetic testing requests, ensuring accurate case review, timely specimen handling, proper documentation, and clear communication among pathologists, lab staff, and external facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1-2 years administrative, healthcare, or science experience.
• Experience with computer systems including Outlook, Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and process molecular and cytogenetic requests for internal and external labs.
• Review pathology reports to determine next steps in the molecular testing workflow.
• Verify test requisitions for insurance and ensure ordering criteria are met.
• Track and monitor status of testing results for timely processing and reporting.
• Manage reports from outside labs and document in the EMR.
• Upload molecular reports to the patient EMR and maintain organized records.
