Job summary

Silgan Closures in Champaign, IL is seeking a Molding Technician (Mold Mechanic) to set up, repair, and optimize high-speed molding equipment for food and beverage packaging components.

You will perform preventative maintenance, ensure GMP/HACCP compliance, and document activities while collaborating with production and maintenance teams to maximize uptime and product quality.

• Pay range $29.21 - $32.32 per hour
• Schedule: 2-2-3 with every other weekend off - Friday - Sunday
• Hours: 12-hour 5:45am - 6:00pm

What You'll Need:

• High school diploma or GED required
• 2+ years of experience as a molding technician, mold mechanic, or related maintenance role
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
