Molding Technician (Mold Mechanic) at our Champaign, IL, manufacturing facility. In this hands‑on role, you’ll maintain, repair, and optimize high‑speed molding machinery to ensure efficient production of food and beverage packaging components. What We Offer

Pay range $29.21 - $32.32 per hour
Sign‑on bonus $1,000.00
Schedule: 2‑2‑3 with every other weekend off – Friday – Sunday
Hours: 12‑hour night, 5:45 pm – 6:00 am
Weekly pay with opportunities for overtime

What You Will Do

Set up, process, and troubleshoot molding machinery and auxiliary equipment
Perform preventive maintenance per schedule to maximize uptime and product quality
Ensure parts meet all quality and safety requirements
Monitor and maintain chiller and production system performanceCommunicate effectively with production, maintenance, and management teams
Maintain accurate documentation according to GMP, HACCP, and Food Safety standards
Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and teamwork

Additional Qualifications / Responsibilities

What You’ll Need:

High school diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience as a molding technician, mold mechanic, or related maintenance role
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
