Job summary

BD's Columbus molding center in Nebraska seeks a detail-oriented associate to perform dimensional and functional testing, visual quality checks, and ensure labels and paperwork match work orders. You will partner with the quality team to communicate defects and maintain accurate records throughout the production run.

The role emphasizes 5S, continuous improvement, and safe handling of materials, with everyday responsibilities including line clearances, inventory containment, and cross-training

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• 2 years manufacturing experience required.
• Basic computer skills.
• Organizational skills.
• Written and Oral communication skills.
• Math skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks per procedures.
• Communicate non-conforming material (defects) to quality group and management.
• Accurately complete paperwork for molded products and maintain documentation.
• Pack finished products into cartons and label contents as per work orders.
• Maintain communication to resolve problems and changes in a timely manner.
• Perform line clearances before/after production runs and ensure proper labeling.
