Job summary

BD's Columbus (NE) molding center seeks a production quality associate responsible for dimensional and functional testing, visual checks, and accurate documentation of molded products. You will pack finished goods, ensure correct labeling, and maintain clean, organized work areas while supporting continuous improvement initiatives onsite.

The role requires at least a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and 2 years of manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience required (in lieu of HS diploma/GED).
• Basic computer skills and strong communication, math and organizational abilities are expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform dimensional, functional testing and visual quality checks.
• Communicate non-conforming material (defects) to quality group and management.
• Complete paperwork/documentation for molded products.
• Pack finished products into cartons and labels.
• Maintain communication to ensure problems and changes are addressed promptly.
• Perform line clearances before and after production runs.
• Ensure labels are correct per work orders and maintain accurate records.
• Assist in cross-training and on-the-job training of associates.
