Job summary

BD is seeking a Manufacturing Technician in Columbus, Nebraska to operate production equipment, perform quality checks, and execute changeovers in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and some manufacturing experience.

Experience with MES and precision measuring tools is preferred, with strong English communication and teamwork skills. On-site role requiring collaboration, adherence to GMP standards, and accurate SAP/MES data entry.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED preferred; two years manufacturing experience acceptable in lieu.
• Experience with MES and precision measuring instruments preferred.
• Ability to read, speak, write English and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely to produce quality products and perform quality checks.
• Perform changeovers, line clearance and cleaning to maintain line readiness.
• Enter SAP/MES data and assist in root-cause analysis as needed.
• Maintain GMP standards and a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team to achieve production goals and reduce downtime.
