Job summary

Careers With Westfall Technik is seeking a Set Up Technician for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM–11:30 PM) to install and startup injection molds and related equipment. You will perform mold changeovers, document setup steps, and ensure readiness of the molding area to support production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on mechanical skills, strong communication, and the ability to analyze processes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain safety and quality standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Minimum 2 years as molding/setup technician in manufacturing.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Set up, install, start up, and change over molds and equipment per plan.
• Document setup steps, mold performance and shift activities using ERP/QMS.
• Analyze outputs, troubleshoot equipment, and provide corrective actions.
• Maintain clean, organized work area and support material handling.
• Assist with cross-functional tasks including shipping preparations as needed.
