Hoffer Plastics is seeking a Mold Setup Technician for the 3rd shift to set up molds and run production according to internal and customer specs. Responsibilities include parameter input, maintaining 5S, and working with quality inspectors to ensure part quality.

The role includes four skill levels with training progression, safety adherence, and opportunities for advancement within a growing U.S. company.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and math proficiency.
• Proficient reading and writing in English.
• Ability to progress through leveled molding technician training.

Responsibilities

• Set molding process parameters to meet production demands.
• Troubleshoot process, machine, and equipment problems to reduce downtime.
• Assist in quality inspection and defect identification.
• Work with supervisors to improve productivity and reduce scrap.
• Perform material handler duties as assigned.
