Marangoni Tread seeks a hands-on Mold Process Technician to safeguard mold integrity, optimize changeovers, and drive root-cause analysis with Engineering, Production, and Quality. You’ll ensure traceability, prevent contamination, and help meet production schedules in a safety-first environment, working on the shop floor in Tennessee.

This role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year of related experience, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing or mold processing preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue materials and equipment from stockroom or yard.
  • Document mold changes and machine adjustments, including troubleshooting.
  • Communicate technical decisions to Engineering and Production for root-cause analysis.
  • Collaborate to ensure molded components meet requirements and adjust as needed.
  • Provide molded components to meet production schedules.
  • Maintain mold material traceability and prevent contamination.
  • Generate run documentation for traceability and reproducibility.
  • Work with Quality to ensure product quality aligns with standards.
  • Follow procedures to maintain clean, organized work environment.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed.

Overview

We’re seeking a hands‑on Mold Process Technician to safeguard mold integrity, optimize changeovers, and drive root‑cause analysis with Engineering, Production, and Quality. You’ll ensure traceability, prevent contamination, and help meet production schedules in a safety‑first environment.

About the Role

Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
  • Document mold changes and machine adjustments, including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effective technical decisions to Engineering, Production, and Management to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements; make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
  • Manage raw mold material to ensure traceability, shelf life, and prevent contamination.
  • Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility.
  • Work with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure product quality aligns with company standards.
  • Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Extended periods of standing or sitting; extensive use of measuring devices and machinery.
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds.
