Responsibilities include preparing frozen sections, embedding tissue for histopathology, staining, and maintaining meticulous records while ensuring compliance with CLIA standards.

Qualifications

• Prepare and cut frozen sections of tissue specimens using Mohs techniques.
• Process and embed tissue samples for histopathological examination.
• Perform staining and quality-control measures for slide preparation.
• Document all steps and maintain accurate records of specimen processing.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut frozen sections of tissue specimens utilizing Mohs surgical techniques.
• Process and embed tissue samples accurately for histopathological examination.
• Perform staining techniques for slide preparation and ensure quality control measures are met.
• Document all steps and processes associated with specimen processing and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory safety and CLIA standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to support Mohs procedures.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams to ensure seamless Mohs operations.
• Provide guidance to other laboratory staff as necessary.
• Engage in continuous education to improve histotechnical skills.
