Job summary

QualDerm Partners LLC is seeking a Mohs Histotechnician to support Mohs micrographic surgery by providing high‑quality histological services in a fast‑paced clinical setting. You will prepare frozen sections, process tissues, stain slides, document steps, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while collaborating with surgical and clinical teams.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s in Histotechnology (ASCP HTL preferred) and prior Mohs/histology experience, with strong attention to detail

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Histotechnology or related field required or preferred.
• ASCP Histotechnologist (HTL) certification preferred.
• Prior experience in histology or Mohs laboratory strongly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and patients.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut frozen sections of tissue specimens using Mohs techniques.
• Process and embed tissue samples for histopathological examination.
• Perform staining for slide preparation and ensure quality control.
• Document all steps and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA laboratory safety and regulatory standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment to support workflow.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams during Mohs procedures.
• Provide guidance to other laboratory staff as needed.
• Engage in ongoing education to enhance histotechnical skills.
