Qualifications

• AS or BS in histology or a related field.
• HT/HTL ASCP Certification preferred.
• Previous experience in anatomic pathology preferred.
• Adherence to CLIA, OSHA, HIPAA and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Tissue processing: embed, section, and stain frozen tissue promptly for Mohs surgery.
• Slide preparation: cover slips for immediate review by Mohs surgeon.
• Laboratory maintenance: calibrate and troubleshoot cryostats and staining instruments.
• Documentation: maintain precise specimen records and patient information.
• Safety and compliance: follow regulatory standards and safety protocols.
• Operational support: manage lab setup and inventory to support daily operations.
