QualDerm Partners LLC seeks a Mohs Histotechnician to support Mohs micrographic surgery by providing high-quality histology in a fast-paced clinical environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Histotechnology (ASCP HTL preferred) and strong attention to detail. Prior histology or Mohs lab experience is highly valued, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Histotechnology or related field.
• ASCP Histotechnologist (HTL) certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with team members and patients.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cut frozen sections of tissue using Mohs techniques.
• Process and embed tissue samples for histopathology.
• Perform staining for slide preparation and ensure quality control.
• Document all steps and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with CLIA and safety standards.
• Maintain and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
• Collaborate with surgical and clinical teams during Mohs procedures.
• Provide guidance to other staff as needed.
• Engage in ongoing education to improve skills.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
