Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems in Melbourne, FL seeks a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to support analyses including cost and readiness, obsolescence forecasting, LORA, and spares modeling. You will collaborate with multiple departments to collect data and strategize solutions while maintaining strong communication.

A Secret clearance is required or obtainable, with SAP clearance possible. Primary duties include interfacing with Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M and DMS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of experience OR Master's degree in STEM with 0 years of experience.
• Familiarity with other Product Support disciplines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance or higher.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance in a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Support analyses including cost analysis (Development and O&S), Readiness, R&M improvement, spares forecasting, fleet readiness modeling.
• Obsolescence forecasting; Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and spares modeling.
• Interface with Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M, DMS team, Support Hardware, and supplier design engineers.
• Possess strong communication and writing skills and handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools is essential.
