Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems invites applications for a Modeling Simulation and Analysis Engineer in El Segundo, CA. Lead and deliver advanced system simulations, develop modeling frameworks, and provide technical leadership across multi-domain analysis efforts.

The role requires building CONOPs, evaluating architectures, and delivering performance models for air/space domains, with collaboration across engineers and program leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field with related experience.
• Active US Government Secret or higher clearance, or ability to obtain TS clearance.
• Scripting experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, Java.
• Experience with data analysis visualization tools.
• Experience with simulation frameworks such as AFSIM, Suppressor, STK.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in technical execution of systems analysis and simulation tasks.
• Develop software and analytical tools to model system behavior in real-time and constructive simulations.
• Develop, integrate, and use advanced GUIs and visualization tools.
• Model environments and perform trade studies via computer simulation; propose architectures.
• Perform mission effectiveness analyses and operational analyses across domains.
• Create CONOPs and TTPs at system, mission, and campaign levels within the program.
