Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Modeling & Simulation Engineer for Melbourne, FL, to support analyses including cost, readiness, obsolescence forecasting, LORA and spares modeling within the Product Support group.

You will work with Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M, and DMS teams to collect data and develop solutions, leveraging Python and Microsoft tools. A Secret clearance is required; SAP clearance is a plus; travel up to 10% may be needed. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics from an accredited university and 2 years of relevant experience OR Master's Degree in STEM and 0 years of experience.
Familiarity with other Product Support disciplines.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance or higher.
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.

Responsibilities

Support analyses including: cost analysis (Development and Operations & Support), Readiness (R&M) Improvement, Spares forecasting, Fleet Readiness Modeling; Obsolescence forecasting; LORA; and spares modeling.
Interface with other functional departments to collect data and strategize/provide solutions.
Proficiency with Microsoft Tools is essential.
