Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Modeling & Simulation Engineer to join our team in Melbourne, FL. In this role you will support analyses including cost analysis (Development and Operations & Support), Readiness (R&M Improvement, Spares forecasting, Fleet Readiness Modeling); Obsolescence forecasting; Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and spares modeling.

You will interface with other functional departments to collect data and strategize solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in STEM with related experience or zero years if Master’s in STEM.
• Familiarity with other Product Support disciplines.
• Ability to obtain and maintain US Government Secret clearance or higher.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable time.

Responsibilities

• Support analyses including cost analysis (Development and O&S), Readiness (R&M Improvement, Spares forecasting, Fleet Readiness Modeling).
• Obsolescence forecasting; Level of Repair Analysis (LORA); and spares modeling.
• Interface with Air Vehicle, Avionics, Systems Engineering, R&M, DMS team, Support Hardware, and supplier design engineers to collect data and strategize solutions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Tools is essential.
