Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems seeks a Systems Engineer/Modeling & Simulation 2/3 in Melbourne, FL. The role supports MBSE architectures, conops, and DoDAF/SysML viewpoints to enable advanced modeling, simulation, and digital engineering for aerospace systems.

Under guidance, you’ll work with senior engineers to meet requirements, analyze architectures, and assist with interface definitions while collaborating with vehicle design teams.

Qualifications

• Level 2: Bachelor’s in STEM with 2 years engineering experience or Master’s with 0 years.
• Must have active DoD Top Secret clearance.
• Foundation in MBSE and architecture development via coursework or projects.
• Exposure to modeling and simulation in academic or industry settings.
• Level 3: Bachelor’s in STEM with 5 years experience or Master’s with 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain Mod & Sim architectures for design, test, integration.
• Develop MBSE concepts including CONOPS and use cases for the environment.
• Analyze requirements and support DoDAF/SysML viewpoints for modeling.
