Qualifications

• 10+ years in digital or model-based engineering.
• Hands-on MBD in PTC Creo and/or Zuken E3.series, plus PLM such as Windchill.
• Depth in one discipline with working knowledge of the other is expected; breadth across both is preferred.
• Experience owning MBD/MBE standards, templates, and automation at program or enterprise scale.
• Strong command of GD&T and model-based definition under ASME Y14.5 and Y14.41.
• Experience leading technical delivery teams and working directly with client leadership.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain the MBD authoring standard: templates, metadata schema, automated model-check configuration, and annotation conventions.
• Set the neutral-derivative and automated-analysis strategy, for example STEP AP242, QIF, and 3D PDF.
• Define the PLM release path: engineering change process, part-to-CAD linkage, and CAD BOM to EBOM alignment.
• Stand up the electrical and harness side using Zuken E3.series with data management and harness design rules.
• Own the quality gate and digital-thread with traceability from engineering to released hardware.
• Run delivery: integrated master schedule, reviews, risk management, and continuous improvement with the client.
• Support planning and estimation for scaling the conversion effort.
• Coach design and validation engineers on tools and MBPD processes.
