Accenture Federal Services seeks a Digital Engineering Lead to guide an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace and defense manufacturer. You will define MBD standards, templates, and automation, and serve as the senior technical contact to the client’s leadership, structuring the delivery team for model-based engineering across mechanical and electrical domains.

Qualifications

10+ years in digital or model‑based engineering.
Hands-on MBD in Creo and/or MBE in Zuken E3.series; PLM such as Windchill.
Depth in one discipline with working knowledge of the other is expected.
Experience owning MBD/MBE standards, templates, and automation at program or enterprise scale.

Responsibilities

Define and maintain the MBD authoring standard and templates.
Set neutral-derivative and automated-analysis strategy (STEP AP242, QIF, 3D PDF).
Define PLM release path and CAD BOM to EBOM alignment.
Stand up electrical/harness in parallel using Zuken E3.series and DS-E3/PDM.
Own the quality gate, digital thread, and traceability from definition to hardware release.
Lead delivery: kickoff, integrated master schedule, risk management, and continuous improvement.
