Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking Electrical / Wire Harness Design Engineers for an up-conversion team on a modernization program for a major aerospace and defense manufacturer. The role involves converting legacy 2D diagrams into structured, MBSE electrical definitions in Zuken E3.series and releasing them into the client’s PLM system.

You will build wiring diagrams and harness models, ensure correct connectivity and attributes, and maintain a clean device tree while reconciling BOM data

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of electrical design engineering experience.
• Hands-on ECAD experience with major toolsets (e.g., Zuken E3.series, Mentor Capital/Capital Essentials, EPLAN, Mentor/Xpedition).
• Track record of creating/modifying electrical schematics, wiring and cable definitions, and related data.
• Working knowledge of connectors, pin-outs, wire sizing, shielding.
• Willingness to learn Zuken E3.series through training; direct E3.series exp not required to start.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Build electrical definitions in E3.series: wiring diagrams and cable/harness models with connectors, lines, conductors, signals, splices, shields.
• Ensure connectivity is correct: pins, end-to-end signal names, and attributes.
• Maintain a clean device tree with proper assemblies and part-number attribution.
• Reconcile E3 BOM with PLM BOM.
• Support interfacing electrical structure during conversion and provide template improvements.
