Concord Hospital in New Hampshire is seeking a patient care assistant to support mobilization and daily care under the direction of Rehabilitation Services and Nursing staff. You will prepare equipment, position patients, and assist with mobility tasks to help ensure safe and effective care.

No prior experience required; a high school diploma and BLS certification within 30 days are required. You will contribute to room setup, documentation in the EMR, and teamwork with nurses and therapists.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Current American Heart Association BLS or equivalent within 30 days of hire.
No prior experience required.

Responsabilités

Prepare and position patient before and after skilled care provided by nurse or rehab therapist.
Demonstrates safe ambulation, positioning, support or assistance techniques.
Observes all precautions and seeks clarification on goals of session.
Assist with room setup and comfort items for patient safety.
Set up and manage mobility equipment (lifts, walkers, canes, crutches).
Document inpatient interventions in the EMR and coordinate with nurse/therapist.
