Job summary

MUSC Health is seeking a Mobility Tech to support patient mobility under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. You will perform ambulation, transfers to/from chair, assist patients in exercises, and use lift equipment to help patients reach goals.

This on-site role requires a high school diploma or GED (with health care experience or CNA/EMT); BLS certification is required and must be maintained. The position offers 36 hours per week and hourly pay.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with at least 1 year of patient care work experience in a health care facility.
• CNA certification.
• EMT or Paramedic certification or nursing student with relevant coursework.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with ambulation and transfers to/from chair.
• Support patient exercises and functional activities under nurse supervision.
• Perform lifts to chair using lift equipment to help patients reach goals.
