Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required and current MUHA Care Team Member
  • Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant course completion
  • EMT or Paramedic certification
  • Nursing student enrolled in an accredited institution with the completion of nursing fundamentals course
  • Bachelor’s degree

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with ambulation and transfers to/from chair
  • Support patients in practicing exercises or functional activities
  • Perform total lifts to chair using lift equipment to ensure safety
  • Maintain patient safety during mobility tasks and report changes
  • Follow Nurse Manager instructions and MUHA policies
