Numotion is the leader in complex rehabilitation technology, seeking a Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain manual and powered wheelchairs and related equipment. You’ll work in a shop and in the field, ensuring devices are safe, reliable, and ready for users, with responsibilities spanning diagnostics, parts management, and customer education.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair, adherence to manufacturer specs, and delivering high-quality service across the Chesapeake area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; minimum one year related experience.
• Minimum of two years of relevant mechanical experience; medical equipment preferred.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools for equipment repair.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair equipment in shop or field.
• Maintain rental/stock equipment in ready-to-use condition.
• Keep shop/warehouse clean, organized, and safe.
• Maintain delivery vehicles in safe operating condition.
• Receive, store, and ship parts with accurate inventory tracking.
• Complete documentation promptly with signatures and reports.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use, care, and safety.
• Perform minor fittings and adjustments for user comfort.
• Follow safety procedures and regulations.
• Participate in in-service training to stay updated.
