Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to deliver mobile wound care in patients' homes and SNFs around Casper, WY. This is a part-time, 1099 contractor role requiring local travel and driving to patient sites. Extensive training provided; no prior wound care experience required.

Must hold NP or PA license in WY and CPR certification. You will work 2 days per week, visiting patients in their homes and facilities, with emphasis on high-quality patient

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an NP or PA in WY.
• CPR certification required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• Excellent customer service abilities required.
• Valid driver's license; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care
• Define and document patient diagnoses
• Ensure patient satisfaction with care
• Educate patients and manage their care
• Debride wounds as appropriate during visits
• Apply topical wound care and other products
• Record findings and follow-up notes in patient chart
