Job summary

West Coast Wound & Skin Care is seeking Nurse Practitioners or Physician Assistants to perform mobile advanced wound care in patients' homes and SNFs within Inland Empire, CA. You will travel locally to see patients, with extensive training provided.

Must be licensed in CA as NP or PA, CPR certified, valid driver’s license and liability auto insurance; local travel is required. This is a 1099 contractor role, with options for Part-time or Full-time engagement.

Qualifications

• Current state license as NP or PA in CA.
• CPR certification required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and auto liability insurance; local travel is required.

Responsibilities

• Select, order, and perform tests and procedures to best treat the patient.
• Perform wound care procedures as part of the plan of care.
• Define and document patient diagnoses.
• Assure all patients are completely satisfied with care.
• Patient education and management during visits.
• Debridement of wounds using appropriate methods during visits.
• Apply topical wound care products and other wound management items.
• Notate findings and treatment course in patient chart, including follow-up notes.
